ifp’s core technological areas of competence are analysis, the
production of system studies, and software development for the automation of
technical processes.
Our main areas of competence in engineering are:

Our collaboration on projects is not restricted to any specific system platform. Our team is used to working with XP/Win 7, UNIX, QNX™, ThreadX/NetOS 6.0, VMS, and even still OS/9. We are also happy to work with the customer’s existing environment, as long as it is of relevance to the customer. In-house, we prefer the following software development tools:

- Microsoft Visual Studio 2008 (.NET: Visual C++, Visual C#, Visual Basic)
- Microtec 6K Cross Compiler / XRAY Debugger
- QNX Momentics 6.3 for C++

ifp uses the programming languages C/C++, Visual C++, Visual Basic, Visual C#.NET, XML, XSL, SGML, PHP for its software development. We are familiar with Microsoft techniques like ActiveX, ATL, ADO, SQL-Server 2005 and .NET. For XLINX FPGA programming with the development language VHDL we prefer IDE XILINX Foundation. For CAN analysis purposes we prefer the CANalyser of the supplier Vector Informatik
